Tallebudgera is the best!

My Nana lives at Burleigh Heads, so the other morning after a sleepover we packed up the car and drove 10 minutes down the road to Tallebudgera, which is awesome for swimming for kids! I found the tiniest shell, too, but I lost it somehow. Thankfully I have this picture to remember it!

The Lost World Valley

We had friends camping at our place over the New Year break, so we thought it would be nice to head down to the Lost World Valley in the Scenic Rim, about an hour and a half from our place, to show them. We went swimming in the creek and did some rock throwing. It was pretty fun!

Fishies!

Today I got two guppies! They are my first fish. I will need to feed them a little bit of food and clean out their tank.

Ice-cream on Gallery Walk

Gallery Walk is a big tourist attraction on Tamborine Mountain, where I live. There are all kinds of shops selling everything from jewellery to fudge and fairies. There's also loads of cafes and ice-cream shops! We stopped there the other day to grab an ice-cream. I had mint and vanilla in a waffle cone. Yum!

My holiday list

My mum and I decided to come up with a list of things to do during the holidays, so maybe you'd like to read it, too? Here it is:

  1. Library (we love our local library and there are always fun activities to do)
  2. Make a cubby house
  3. Rock Pools at Southport on the Gold Coast
  4. Camping with my dad
  5. The beach
  6. Southbank (in Brisbane - it's awesome, there is a museum, library and big outdoor pool area)
  7. The zoo (Currumbin or Australia Zoo)
  8. Playdate with a school friend or two
  9. Painting
  10. Swimming at our local pool
  11. Arts and crafts day
  12. Curtis Falls walk (followed by an ice-cream)
  13. Bike riding
  14. Gardening
  15. Catch a bus or tram
  16. Maybe stay at a hotel
This is me making nature crafts!
